Most Greek apparel is screen-printed — a layer of ink sitting on top of the garment. At Semesters, your letters are cut from actual fabric and stitched onto the garment, edge to edge. You can feel the seam. That’s the detail customers keep coming back for, and it’s the heart of the shop.

Custom & Chapter Orders

Ordering is simple — and personal

One shirt for yourself, or matching pieces for your whole chapter. There’s no cart and no checkout here — you talk to the shop, and the shop stitches your letters.

Pick your piece

Start with a stitch shirt, a hoodie, or another garment — and tell us your organization and letters.

II.

Choose letters & colors

Select the fabric for your letters and the background behind them. Chapter colors, classic navy and gold, or something that’s entirely yours.

III.

We stitch them on

Semesters sews your fabric letters onto the garment. The shop will confirm the details, timing, and pickup with you directly.

Our Story

A Ludlow Avenue institution since 1981

Semesters has outfitted Cincinnati’s sorority and fraternity community from the same Clifton neighborhood for over forty years — through generations of Bearcats, bid days, homecomings, and graduations. Under its new owners, the shop has been refreshed with a fresh new look, while the thing that made it beloved stays exactly the same: real fabric letters, sewn on with care.

    Semesters opens its doors, serving the Greek community around the University of Cincinnati.

  • The decades since

    Class after class makes 313 Ludlow Ave part of the ritual — letters for recruitment, gifts for new members, gear for game day.

    Refreshed under new owners with a fresh new look — and the same stitched-letter craft the shop was built on.
